Job description

The Manager of Carrier Sales will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are met with assigned accounts, positioning Dobson Fiber as the network provider of choice. The Manager of Carrier Sales will be responsible for growing revenue from assigned and new wholesale accounts. Customers include CLECs, ILECs, wireless providers, ISPs, WISPs, and cable companies. Revenue-generating activity may also include E-Rate initiatives and other strategic partnerships., * Ensure the development, implementation, and processes to achieve account objectives regarding sales, revenue, expenses, and customer service/retention.

  • Coordinate/direct technical resources to support customer information requests related to products & services such as Internet, Ethernet transport, and managed wavelengths.
  • Participate in ongoing training: Fiber Optics’ products and services.
  • Develop and/or conduct presentations to effectively communicate products/ services.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise regarding competitive products/services/promotions to develop methods to position Dobson against its competitors positively.
  • Work with different departments to ensure efficient/courteous handling of new sales & implementations.
  • Report on market/competitor activity to VP Wholesale
  • complete all training programs as defined for the position.
  • Maintain sales paperwork and reporting activities and results through Salesforce funnel management and CRM functionality.
  • Ability to grasp Dobson services and value proposition in an aggressive period.
  • Perform general office duties and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wholesale sales environment?, * Previous successful experience exceeding sales targets, account development, and prospecting.

  • Strong overall knowledge of the technology industry and possess technical aptitude.
  • Well-developed decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills; computer literate.
  • Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and remain organized.
  • Ability to conduct research and analyze information gathered., * A college degree in sales, marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in Wholesale telecommunications sales, with extensive knowledge of Ethernet, Internet, and managed wavelength services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and decision-making abilities are also required.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Some business travel required for this position
  • Indoor office environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enables the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enables interpersonal communication and communication through automated devices like the telephone.
