Job description
- Design, implement, maintain, and support client network and server infrastructures.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations, and related infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
- Configure and maintain network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and proactively recommend improvements.
- Perform disaster recovery operations, backups, and business continuity planning.
- Implement and maintain network security best practices.
- Configure and support LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networking solutions.
- Deploy and maintain Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal team members to resolve technical issues.
- Document systems, procedures, and technical standards.
- Participate in project planning, implementations, and technology upgrades.
- Occasionally travel to client locations as needed.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, The ideal candidate is a highly motivated IT professional with strong networking and systems administration experience who enjoys solving complex technical problems while delivering exceptional customer service. This individual must be a team player, communicate effectively with both clients and coworkers, and thrive in a fast-paced Managed Services (MSP) environment., * Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related IT role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of:
- Windows Server
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- DNS
- DHCP
- Group Policy
- Hyper-V or VMware
- TCP/IP networking
- Routing & Switching
- Firewalls
- VPN technologies
- LAN/WAN environments
- Experience supporting business environments with multiple users.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Certifications
One or more of the following certifications is preferred:
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA A+
- Microsoft Certified (Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365)
- RHCSA
- Wireshark WCNA, The successful candidate will be:

Position Requirements
- Full-time
- 100% Onsite in Pleasanton, California
- Occasional travel to client locations
- Ability to lift and install standard IT equipment when necessary
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred, * Network administration: 5 years (Required)
