Senior Network & Systems Engineer (Onsite)

• Design, implement, maintain, and support client network and server infrastructures.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations, and related infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
• Configure and maintain network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and proactively recommend improvements.
• Perform disaster recovery operations, backups, and business continuity planning.
• Implement and maintain network security best practices.
• Configure and support LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networking solutions.
• Deploy and maintain Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal team members to resolve technical issues.
• Document systems, procedures, and technical standards.
• Participate in project planning, implementations, and technology upgrades.
• Occasionally travel to client locations as needed.

This individual must be a team player, communicate effectively with both clients and coworkers, and thrive in a fast-paced Managed Services (MSP) environment., * Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related IT role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of:
• Windows Server
• Microsoft 365
• Active Directory
• DNS
• DHCP
• Group Policy
• Hyper-V or VMware
• TCP/IP networking
• Routing & Switching
• Firewalls
• VPN technologies
• LAN/WAN environments
• Experience supporting business environments with multiple users.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Certifications

One or more of the following certifications is preferred:

• Cisco CCNP or CCIE
• CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA A+
• Microsoft Certified (Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365)
• RHCSA

Position Requirements

• Full-time
• 100% Onsite in Pleasanton, California
• Occasional travel to client locations
• Ability to lift and install standard IT equipment when necessary
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred, * Network administration: 5 years (Required)
