Systems Integration SME - Aviation Security and Public Safety Systems

IDM is looking to hire a Systems Integration Subject Matter Expert to provide technical leadership for a major aviation security and public safety systems modernization project. This role will focus on technical integration across access control, video management/storage, computer-aided dispatch, records management, credentialing, reporting, and related enterprise systems., * Serve as the technical integration lead across access control, video management/storage, dispatch, records, and related platforms.

• Define and maintain interface requirements, integration assumptions, technical dependencies, data flows, and event flows.

• Develop or support Interface Control Documents, requirements traceability, integration test plans, and workflow documentation.

• Review target-state architecture, environment designs, infrastructure readiness, disaster recovery alignment, and security requirements.

• Coordinate technical standards for naming, time synchronization, retention, permissions, logging, auditing, monitoring, and alerting.

• Provide technical oversight for infrastructure refresh activities involving servers, storage, endpoints, controllers, panels, and field devices.

• Lead or support system integration testing strategy, test case development, execution coordination, validation, and acceptance evidence.

• Support migration and cutover planning, including technical sequencing, parallel operations, rollback criteria, and go/no-go readiness.

• Troubleshoot integration defects, lead root-cause analysis, coordinate vendor resolution, and validate fixes through retesting.

• Ensure as-built diagrams, configuration baselines, runbooks, test evidence, commissioning checklists, and handoff documentation are complete.

Do you have experience in Test validation method?, * 5+ years of experience as a systems integration engineer, systems architect, technical lead, or integration SME.

• Experience integrating enterprise security, public safety, video, access control, dispatch, records, or related systems.

• Strong understanding of system interfaces, event flows, data mapping, integration dependencies, and operational workflows.

• Experience developing interface documentation, integration test cases, requirements traceability, and technical acceptance criteria.

• Working knowledge of servers, storage, networking, authentication, authorization, monitoring, logging, and time synchronization.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-system defects and coordinate root-cause analysis across multiple teams.

• Strong technical documentation and communication skills; ability to explain technical issues as operational impacts and decision points.

Preferred Experience

• Aviation, transportation, public safety, or regulated operational environment experience.

• Relevant vendor, network, security, integration, or architecture certifications preferred.
