IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on delivering a range of technology-driven initiatives across retail systems, IT infrastructure, and customer platforms. You will play a key role in coordinating deployments, driving transformation projects, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams., * Manage end-to-end delivery of EPOS deployments, including self-checkout systems, point-of-sale solutions, and payment terminals, covering both hardware installation and software integration

• Lead infrastructure improvement projects, including network enhancements (SD-WAN, firewall, and switching upgrades)
• Oversee data centre transition activities, ensuring seamless migration of systems, applications, and hardware
• Support the development and optimisation of CRM platforms, including loyalty initiatives, targeted campaigns, and effective customer data management
• Produce and maintain project governance artefacts such as delivery plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status updates
• Engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business, providing regular progress updates and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Gather and define business requirements, translating them into structured project plans with clear objectives and deliverables
• Coordinate internal teams, third-party suppliers, and external vendors to ensure effective collaboration and alignment to project goals
• Monitor project performance, proactively identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation actions to maintain progress and delivery timelines

• Proven experience delivering IT projects within retail or similar fast-paced environments
• Strong background in EPOS systems, infrastructure upgrades, and large-scale technology rollouts
• Demonstrated experience managing data centre migrations and network transformation initiatives
• Solid understanding of CRM systems, including loyalty and customer engagement platforms
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
