Solutions Architect

Anivas Tech is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our government agency IT operations. We are looking for a skilled professional with 15+ years of relevant experience who brings strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a mission-driven, high-visibility environment. Requirements:

• Define and drive enterprise-level technical architecture strategies aligned with government agency mission objectives
• Lead architecture reviews and provide authoritative guidance on system design, integration patterns, and technology selection
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, project managers, and engineering teams to translate mission needs into actionable technical roadmaps
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts including solution designs, reference architectures, and integration blueprints
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to improve agency operations and reduce technical debt
• Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to security, compliance, and federal IT governance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST)
• Serve as a technical advisor and escalation point for complex cross-system integration and infrastructure challenges
• Support Agile delivery teams by providing architectural guardrails and participating in sprint planning and design sessions
• Coordinate with vendors, cloud service providers, and third-party contractors to ensure architectural cohesion
• Produce and present architectural briefings, risk analyses, and trade-off assessments to senior leadership and government stakeholders
• US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Do you have experience in System design?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; 5 additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree

• 15+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 7 years in a solutions or enterprise architecture role
• Demonstrated experience designing large-scale, distributed systems and enterprise integrations
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures
• Strong understanding of networking, security, databases, middleware, and application development disciplines
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical senior stakeholders
• Ability to lead technical teams and drive consensus across organizational boundaries
• Active Secret clearance or higher
• Experience in federal IT modernization programs or large-scale digital transformation initiatives
• Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodology experience
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Expert, TOGAF Certified)
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST RMF)
