Job description

Perth & Kinross Council is seeking a Performance & Data Analysis Officer to support delivery of the Council’s strategic planning and performance management framework. You will provide high-quality analysis, research and business intelligence to inform decision-making, support service improvement and ensure robust data governance. The role involves working with services and partners to analyse performance data, prepare clear reports and presentations, and support business improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to evidence-based decision-making and improvement activity across the Council. As Performance & Data Analysis Officer you will: o Provide research and analytical business intelligence to inform policy, strategy and project development. Ensuring robust data governance arrangements are in place to enable accurate and trusted data intelligence. o Foster partnerships with key stakeholders including staff across Perth and Kinross Council to ensure a co-ordinated, efficient and effective understanding of data intelligence sources and information to inform service delivery to clients and stakeholders. o Support operations with the preparation and implementation of various performance frameworks, preparing and analysing statistical information to support operational and strategic decision making. o Develop and maintain dashboards and have the ability to ensure good data governance and analysis. Requirements

You should have experience in data analysis, development of dashboards, performance management and report writing, strong analytical and communication skills. You must have a HND or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
