Email Communications Developer (HTML/CSS, AMPscript)

The Communications Developer designs and develops customer-facing email and SMS communications for the Proactive Communications team, ensuring messages are clear, accessible, and aligned with brand standards. This role translates concepts into scalable, reusable templates and modules, supporting personalized and triggered communications such as outage alerts, billing reminders, payment confirmations, service updates, and campaigns., * Design and develop customer-facing email and SMS communications

• Translate concepts into production-ready designs and templates
• Build responsive, accessible email templates using HTML and CSS
• Develop and maintain communications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Convey
• Create dynamic content using personalization, conditional logic, and triggered journeys
• Build reusable templates and modules to improve scalability and efficiency
• Test and troubleshoot across devices, browsers, and email clients
• Ensure communications meet accessibility, deliverability, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and content teams
• Support a variety of communications including alerts, reminders, updates, and campaigns
• Identify opportunities to improve templates, workflows, and engagement

Do you have experience in Promotional email design?, * 5+ years of experience developing email and digital communications

• Strong HTML email development and CSS skills
• Experience with AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS)
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms
• Experience supporting both email and SMS communications
• Understanding of personalization, triggered messaging, and customer segmentation
• Experience testing across email clients and mobile environments
• Knowledge of accessibility, deliverability, and compliance standards
• Strong collaboration, communication, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Convey and Litmus, Email, and on Acid, MailChimp
• Familiarity with analytics and A/B testing for communications optimization
• Experience working in Agile environments
