This role is ideal for a seasoned front desk professional who can step in quickly, provide excellent patient service, and support daily clinic operations with minimal ramp-up time. You will be responsible for managing patient flow, handling scheduling, and supporting administrative functions while delivering a high level of customer service in a fast-paced medical environment., * Greet and check in/out patients
- Schedule appointments and procedures
- Prepare and manage patient charts
- Answer high-volume phone lines
- Handle referrals, authorizations, and insurance verification
- Accurately document patient information
- Provide excellent customer service at all times

Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 2-3+ years of recent medical office experience (front desk, patient registration, or similar)
- Hands-on EPIC experience is REQUIRED
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes
- Comfortable working in a team-based setting, * Dermatology experience
- Experience in a multi-specialty practice
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Patient scheduling and access experience, * On-site role in a busy, high-volume practice
- Team-oriented environment with strong operational expectations
- Professional appearance required (plain-colored scrubs), * Background check
- Drug screening
- Medical/TB screening
- Additional standard healthcare compliance requirements

- 8-hour shift assigned within that window

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lutherville, MD. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
