Job description
We’re looking for a high-impact IT Project Manager to lead mission-critical technology initiatives across transportation and supply chain systems. This role sits at the center of business and technology, driving projects that directly impact how freight moves across the globe.
You’ll own end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives spanning Transportation Management Systems (TMS), enterprise integrations, and emerging AI/automation efforts-working closely with executive leadership, operations teams, and global technology partners.
If you thrive in environments where you can influence strategy, drive modernization, and see tangible operational impact from your work, this role offers exactly that.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of logistics technology initiatives from discovery and design through deployment and optimization
- Drive TMS implementations and enhancements (CargoWise, WorldTrack, or similar), aligning systems with evolving global operations
- Architect and manage enterprise integrations across ERP, WMS, customer platforms, and carrier networks using APIs, EDI, and middleware solutions
- Partner with engineering teams and vendors to build scalable, resilient data flows across logistics ecosystems
- Play a key role in AI and automation initiatives, including predictive ETAs, route optimization, freight audit automation, and operational efficiencies
- Translate complex business needs into clear technical roadmaps, requirements, and execution plans
- Act as a central point of coordination across executives, operations leaders, IT, and third-party vendors
- Proactively identify risks across integrations, data quality, and operational workflows-and drive mitigation strategies
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption across global teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, ideally in complex, system-driven environments
- 3+ years within logistics, supply chain, transportation, or 3PL ecosystems
- Hands-on experience with TMS platforms and system integrations (API/EDI)
- Strong understanding of ERP/WMS-connected environments and data flows
- Proven ability to manage both technical and business stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Experience with platforms like CargoWise, WorldTrack, project44, or FourKites
- Familiarity with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar
- Exposure to AI/ML or automation initiatives within logistics or operations
Benefits & conditions
Pay: $80.00 - $105.00 per hour
