Job description
We are seeking an Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Epic Willow Ambulatory configuration, ambulatory pharmacy workflows, and EHR support operations, and a proven ability to lead day-to-day application support, meet SLAs, and optimize outpatient pharmacy workflows., * Serve as the SME for Epic Willow Ambulatory workflows and system configurations.
- Manage and prioritize daily support and maintenance activities to meet SLAs.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and resolve error queues, Surescripts interface issues, and POS workflow defects.
- Build, configure, and optimize Epic Willow Ambulatory modules, devices, and inventory settings.
- Lead or contribute to design, testing, and go-live implementation activities.
- Analyze and optimize outpatient prescription workflows including eRx, refills, and prior authorization.
- Support multi-site implementations and scaling across the enterprise.
- Liaise between client stakeholders and technical teams to align solutions with business needs.
- Coordinate with offshore teams on task delegation, communication, and performance.
- Partner with pharmacists, pharmacy operations, nurses, and physicians to translate clinical needs.
- Maintain documentation for workflows, build specifications, and testing protocols.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data governance, medication safety, and security policies.
- Support audit readiness, regulatory activities, and deliver end-user training.
Requirements
- Active Epic Willow Ambulatory certification, current and maintained.
- Proficiency in Epic Willow Ambulatory configuration, build, and workflow optimization.
- Experience with EHR support operations, incident management, and SLA adherence.
- Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, data handling, reporting, and validation skills.
- Knowledge of Surescripts interfaces, error queues, POS workflows, and device integration.
- Understanding of 340B billing and pharmacy benefits administration.
- 4+ years in Epic application management and ambulatory pharmacy operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Additional Epic certifications such as Inpatient, Home Infusion, or Bugsy.
- Experience coordinating with offshore support teams.
- Background in healthcare IT consulting or large health system environments.
