Our client is a leading technology provider within the assisted living and care sector. Their platforms support emergency alarm monitoring and communication services used by local authorities, housing providers and care organisations nationwide. Operating 24/7, their solutions play a vital role in protecting and supporting vulnerable individuals across the UK., Due to continued growth, they are seeking a SIP Support Engineer to join their specialist support team. This is a hands-on role focused on deploying, maintaining and supporting cloud-hosted and on-premise SIP platforms. Working from home, you will provide remote support, troubleshoot complex VoIP issues, support customer migrations to cloud environments and assist with infrastructure upgrades across critical customer systems. Participation in a 1-in-5 on-call rota is required.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in VoIP?, * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a SIP/VoIP support or engineering role
- Experience supporting FreeSWITCH (or Asterisk) environments
- Kamailio experience (must have)
- Strong SIP, VoIP and PCAP diagnostic skills
- Windows Server and Linux administration experience
- MSSQL, SSMS and SQL query knowledge
- Networking experience including Firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and DMZs
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar)
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
