Job description
This role is key to the success of GRIT Consultancy. You will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support, delivering onsite assistance to clients across London/Southeast, and supporting deployments and projects across modern cloud-first environments. You will need to be confident working independently, managing your own schedule, and representing GRIT Consultancy professionally at client sites, * Provide Level 2 technical support across desktop, mobile, cloud, and networking environments.
- Attend client sites to troubleshoot issues, perform installations, and replace hardware where required.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft 365 and Intune environments, including device enrolment, compliance, policies, app deployment, and Autopilot.
- Support project delivery, including migrations, onboarding, endpoint refreshes, and site rollouts.
- Manage support tickets in line with SLAs, resolving issues independently where possible and escalating when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support user onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and account setup.
- Contribute to process improvements and undertake additional technical duties as required.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proven Level 2 IT support experience, ideally within an MSP environment.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration and deployment.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, including device management, compliance, policies, app deployment, and Autopilot.
- Good knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID, user management, and security controls.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting physical hardware, including laptops, desktops, and servers.
- Strong support experience across Windows 10/11 environments and virtual platforms such as Azure, ESXi, and Hyper-V.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and basic switch/firewall concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, workload prioritisation, and project delivery skills.
- Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel across London and surrounding areas.
Desirables
- Experience with RMM and PSA tools such as Autotask, Datto RMM, or N-able.
- Familiarity with UniFi, FortiGate, or Ruckus networking, including firewall and NAT configuration.
- Basic PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Experience administering SharePoint and Teams.
- Understanding of security best practices, including MFA, endpoint protection, and compliance.
