Design Engineer

We are seeking a Design Engineer to apply engineering processes and design criteria to power-related systems. This role supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications. The position involves providing guidance and quality assurance for approved contractors as they develop design solutions and construction packages., * Apply engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power-related systems.

• Support the preparation of estimates, develop design options, and create construction specifications.
• Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors.
• Create and maintain a safe work environment by prioritizing safety.
• Understand and utilize processes for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance.
• Use all relevant software applications used in design and understand industry design standards.
• Support construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations.
• Estimate material for projects and transmit construction packages with supporting specifications.

Education: An accredited bachelor’s degree with a focus in Mechanical, Civil, or General engineering is required.

Experience: 0-5 years of related engineering experience.

Technical Skills: Introductory engineering knowledge and basic discipline software knowledge are required.
