Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager with Epic Ambulatory Certification to lead and manage complex healthcare IT projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, experience managing multiple large-scale initiatives, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, risk mitigation, and overseeing project execution from initiation through implementation., * Lead and manage projects through the full project lifecycle.

  • Follow PMO methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Define project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Track project milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, training, and implementation activities.
  • Ensure system changes are thoroughly tested, and users are fully prepared for go-live.
  • Provide project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, scheduling, workload planning, and resource allocation.
  • Mentor junior project managers and project team members.
  • Drive successful project outcomes while meeting organizational objectives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Epic Ambulatory (AMB) Certification - Required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare IT, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proof of education required.
  • Online verification of Epic certification required.
  • Strong experience managing IT projects in healthcare environments.
  • Experience leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
  • Additional Epic project implementation experience.
  • Experience with PMO methodologies and project governance processes., * How many years of experience do you have managing Epic implementation, optimization, or upgrade projects?
