Job description

The Project Manager will be responsible for the effective planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the Digital Services team.

This is a delivery -focused role requiring strong coordination across technical, commercial, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, to scope, and ready for operational use., * Lead and manage 3-6 projects at different stages concurrently, from initiation through to transition into service that meet agreed timescales, scope, quality standards, and budget.

  • Lead and coordinate cross -functional teams across Digital Services, including delivery, engineering, and support functions, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure all teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team (Sales and Marketing), PMO, and senior leadership to align commercial commitments and delivery capability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring requirements, expectations, and communication needs are effectively managed.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), stakeholder registers, gateway documentation, test reports, and go -live checklists.
  • Develop project plans that incorporate the commercial and technical context of each client engagement, clearly identifying dependencies, timelines, and key milestones.
  • Proactively monitor project progress and performance, identifying, documenting, and leading the resolution of risks, issues, and delivery obstacles. Escalate concerns appropriately and in a timely manner through agreed client and internal management channel ls where required.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reporting to key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and internal teams.
  • Ensure all project governance and delivery records remain accurate and up to date throughout the project lifecycle, including project plans, action logs, risk, issue and decision logs, cross -project reporting, and task and defect tracking.
  • This role is expected to actively shape and refine MBI’s project delivery approach, feeding lessons learned into standard processes and delivery models.

Measures of Success

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Onboarding projects, on-time delivery and within agreed scope
  • Time from sales handover to go live
  • Quality at go -live (low defect /issue rate)
  • Smooth transition into support (minimal post -live disruption)
  • Client satisfaction during onboarding

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, The role requires proactive leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in project management, technical delivery, and software and/or IT service deployment

The Project Manager is empowered to challenge delivery commitments, escalate resourcing or dependency risks, and, through appropriate governance, protect timelines and delivery quality

This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and limited day-to-day oversight.

Location: Home -based, with occasional travel to client sites and offices as required

Job Type: Full -time (initial contract opportunity with potential for permanent conversion subject to performance and business requirements)

Experience Level: Mid-management level, with demonstrable experience leading projects, managing stakeholders and driving successful delivery outcomes, * Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering technology or data-focused projects, ideally within a healthcare, health technology, or digital service delivery environment.

  • Proven experience managing client onboarding or implementation projects
  • Ability to run multiple projects in parallel effectively understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, and delivery approaches, with practical experience applying these across multiple projects.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a fast -paced, dynamic, and evolving environment while maintaining high standards of delivery.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar delivery platforms
  • An understanding of the ITIL Service Management framework, particularly Service transition principles and best practices, would be advantageous.

Education, Qualifications and Training

Degree - A bachelor’s degree in IT, business administration, project management, or a related field is highly desirable,

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Relevant project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, APM, PMP) are desirable.
  • ITIL Foundation certification would be advantageous .
