Humanity generates, measures and manages billions of new data every day: environmental data, sensor data, health data, data from social media and the web, to name just a few.
The vision is for the digital economy to take on a pioneering role in the intelligent use of data - through big data analytics, predictive analytics, machine learning and deep learning classifications, among other things, leading technologies.
This requires a transformation of science - towards a data-driven science not only in the natural sciences, but also in the humanities (keywords digital humanities and computational social science).
This requires an economy that can handle large amounts of data for the good of all: where data providers and data seekers form a new kind of marketplace in compliance with data protection. We are working on that!
