Core primitives of decentralized web applications

Decentralized identifiers, verifiable credentials, and decentralized web nodes serve as the foundational tools for this movement.

#3 about 1 min

Securing digital identity with decentralized identifiers

W3C standard decentralized identifiers leverage peer-to-peer networks to give users verifiable ownership of their online identity.

#4 about 1 min

Managing application data with personal data stores

Serverless decentralized web nodes keep encrypted, multi-device data synchronized completely under the end user's control.

#5 about 2 min

Navigating decentralized resources with decentralized resource locators

Decentralized resource locators replace traditional certificate authorities to enable direct peer-to-peer data lookups.

#6 about 3 min

Launching free community decentralized web node instances

A joint cloud initiative offers developers accessible infrastructure to seamlessly experiment with real-world decentralized applications.

#7 about 5 min

Solving data sovereignty with decentralized infrastructure

Decentralized application paradigms address systemic vulnerabilities by returning data ownership and application redundancy to the end user.

#8 about 3 min

Streamlining application logic through open schemas

Shared open application schemas eliminate complex backend management and third-party APIs by positioning programs locally alongside user data.

#9 about 8 min

Driving software innovation through open web standards

Transparent interoperability standards prevent vendor lock-in and foster a competitive substrate for modern digital services.

#10 about 4 min

Accelerating user adoption for decentralized platforms

Managed computing instances and unparalleled data portability protocols effectively lower the entry barriers for consumer computing adoption.

#11 about 4 min

Exploring enterprise investments in decentralized infrastructure

Bridging legacy on-chain mechanisms with secure, off-chain data models enables advanced privacy features like healthcare AI integrations.
