Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) at Douglas GmbH

Requirements

Must-have

Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
6+ years of Kubernetes experience (multi-tenant, multi-cluster)
2+ years of cloud-native development experience
Hands-on with Kubernetes clusters on Azure or Google Cloud
Proficiency in Java and/or Typescript
Strong analysis & debugging skills across the full stack
Experience with Git & CI/CD (ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
Building tools & services for application teams
Fluent English (C1, C2 is a plus)

Nice-to-have

Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
Experience with observability & monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana etc.)
Knowledge of Helm Charts & Service Discovery (CoreDNS, ExternalDNS)
Experience in agile, cross-functional teams

Scope of Work

Engineer and evolve our hybrid, multi-cloud Kubernetes platform that powers e-commerce, retail and enterprise operations
Design, build, and integrate tools that improve developer experience and streamline deployments
Empower development teams to autonomously manage the full lifecycle of their applications through our Kubernetes-based developer platform
Guide teams in adopting best practices for observability and vulnerability management
Troubleshoot and debug cluster and application issues across multiple platforms
Monitor platform health to proactively identify issues and opportunities for optimization
Perform regular platform maintenance and upgrades
Participate in the on-call rotation as a backup engineer
