Software Developer (OutSystems & Workato) at SMG Swiss Marketplace Group

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, and JavaScript

• Experience with Workato and/or OutSystems development, or similar platforms 

• Solid experience in data mapping, transformation, and integration performance optimization

• Familiarity with database structures and modern software development methodologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

• High level of autonomy, reliability, and problem-solving capability

• Comfortable working under pressure and prioritizing tasks effectively
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workato certifications: Automation Pro I, II, III

• Experience with other integration platforms

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python

• Experience working with Jira, sprint planning, and agile delivery

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Developer to join our team. If you’re passionate about automation, API integration, and building resilient, scalable software solutions, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration workflows and custom recipes using Workato and OutSystems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver robust technical solutions

• Build, monitor, and optimize integrations to ensure performance and reliability

• Develop and document custom connectors and APIs

• Follow agile development practices including Jira Kanban boards, writing user stories, and participating in sprint planning

• Maintain and enhance existing Workato recipes and OutSystems modules

• Apply best practices in security, integration, and software development

• Security-first mindset and best practices for API development along corporate policies and legal guidelines
