Job description

  • Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists within Data Analytics to supply ready-to-use datasets
  • Work in the Data Lab team (data engineer, full stack developer, data scientist) to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
  • Design, build, and evolve the data warehouse and analytical data models
  • Monitor daily data loads and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines
  • Support and maintain the ongoing transition to Microsoft Fabric and related cloud components
  • Create and maintain views, stored procedures, and modular transformations for reuse and performance
  • Define and maintain data models, foreign keys, relationships, and semantic models
  • Harmonize and standardize data across source systems
  • Develop and support data processes for budgeting, financial reporting, IP-related, and stakeholder reporting needs
  • Extend the data quality framework and data lineage tracking
  • Monitor, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries, storage layers, and processing jobs
  • Ensure appropriate security, compliance, and access controls
  • Maintain and update technical documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • +4 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or database development
  • Strong T-SQL skills (query design, stored procedures, performance tuning)
  • Experience with query plan analysis, indexing strategies, and storage/performance optimization
  • Ability to diagnose performance and reliability issues across data pipelines and SQL workloads
  • Familiarity with source control and CI/CD practices for data (e.g., Git branching, automated deployment)
  • Exposure to Power BI semantic models and Microsoft Fabric is a plus
  • Strong analytical and investigative mindset with a service orientation
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work autonomously; demonstrate initiative and team spirit
  • Fluency in English
