Lead Java/Kotlin Developer (f/m/x) sDDA at Deutsche Bank

Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Deep proficiency in Java/Kotlin and strong knowledge of algorithms/complexity
  • Hands-on knowledge of Spring, Linux, Maven, Kafka, OpenAPI is a big plus
  • Knowledge of SQL and deep knowledge of at least one RDBMS; Oracle is a plus
  • Experience designing architecture of high availability solutions based on microservice architecture
  • Experience with GCP or other cloud providers

Soft Skills:

  • Problem solving, ability to take ownership of a task until its completion, rather than simply coding.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to solve complex challenges in highly regulated environment.
  • Experience with mentoring junior engineers and reviewing technical designs.

Scope of Work

Cash Management IT is running a number of large-scale transformation projects in the areas of Core Banking and Liquidity Management. The projects involve renovation of the application landscape, building modular architecture, delivering new products and services, and creating foundation for new business/revenue models.

sDDA is hiring bright backend engineers to work on projects in Cash Management domain.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design and develop new functionality from scratch
  • Working within team as well as cross-team on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design
  • Leading others by example with focus on technical excellence
  • Document business and functional requirements, design decisions and API across multiple components of the system
  • Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
  • Actively contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
