

Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/x) –Client Facing Channels at Deutsche Bank
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Architecture and Design Principles, Algorithms and Data Structures
- Expert programming with many years of working experience in Java and Spring
- Proven track record in high-load distributed system design and fault tolerant applications
- Knowledge on Linux
- Knowledge of Spring-boot, Oracle, Data processing, Kafka, MQ is a plus
- Hands on experience with Kafka, Hazelcast, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift – is a plus
Scope of Work
You will be part of the Channel and Market Integration (CMI) Squad, which develops platforms that unifies interfaces of the Bank with external systems, such as Central Banks, Clearing Houses, government Agencies, Regulators. The platform allows payment processes to leave and enter the bank, provides payment orchestrating services on cloud-based microservice architecture.

Ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the continuous delivery roadmap for one of the leading programs in corporate bank, leading from the front on all aspect of Software Development Lifecycle, following and applying the agile principles. You should have many years of experience and preferably would have worked in large digital transformation programs as a senior engineer (f/m/x) consisting of cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, containers and would understand managed application/container security across the layers etc.

Your key responsibilities
- Teamwork on a shared codebase with other software and QA engineers.
- Contribution to Architecture and Design decisions.
- Cooperation with Functional and Business Analysts to shape consistent requirements and documentation.
- Self-driven technical analysis, design, development, unit testing, deployment and documenting of development artifacts
- Deployment and tuning of components for testing, demos and production roll-out
