We are looking for a UI/UX Engineer (f/m/d) who will craft scalable, maintainable frontend architectures and deliver high-quality, production-ready code. Your main tasks will be:
- Collaborate with the product management team to create scalable UI components for Javascript based applications
- Convert mockups and designs from the design team into functional requirements and develop clean, reusable code to create interchangeable frontend modules
- Identify the development areas in the existing application, create solutions for elaborate business needs, design and implement these solutions
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and DevOps to develop features, troubleshoot problems, and conduct testing for high-traffic customer-facing services and applications in an agile and collaborative team environment, while taking complete ownership of your solution throughout the development and production phases
- Create code that adheres to the most recent coding guidelines and industry standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with deep expertise in frontend development; broad experience in building modern JavaScript-based web and SaaS products
- Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries (Angular, React, Vue, etc)
- Strong expertise in RESTful APIs and how to use them in practice
- Strong understanding of user experience design principles
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Storybook
- Expertise in writing effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus points for:
- Previous experience with SaaS environment
- Experience with UX research and testing
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with UI animation and micro-interactions
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
