Job description
ENPULSION is looking for an experienced System Engineer (f/m/x) to join the Engineering Department. The role is responsible for developing and managing the technical product life-cycle of an electric propulsion system. This will be conducted by following the agreed internal standards and technical customer requirements. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in electric propulsion systems with a structured, hands-on approach and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional space environment., * Own the system level design and related trade offs for a fully integrated electric propulsion system.
- Drive cross functional team cooperation from a product perspective to meet agreed milestones.
- Work in close collaboration with the Head of Engineering to contribute with technical planning and management tasks.
- Ensure the maintenance of the as-specified and as-designed baselines as part of configuration control of the product.
- Align internal stakeholders for the development goal like product assurance, industrial engineering and on-orbit support.
- Compile and maintain technical documentation according to internal standards, considering ECSS and customer requirements.
- Interface with Customer Success Engineering team to support mission timeline, operations plan definition and procedures, and active support during the first flight operations.
- Actively contribute and monitor the development of systems architecture and design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in the Space Industry with an educational background in Aerospace Engineering, Plasma Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Profound understanding of space industry standard processes, including ECSS standards, aerospace-grade product documentation, and design control.
- In-depth knowledge of electric propulsion systems, with a strong grasp of the physical processes in plasma devices.
- Independent, precise and structured working style with strong implementation skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Passion for space technology, innovation, and building high-reliability systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Very good command of English.

Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 3.341,50 gross per month, with a planned significant overpayment of 5000-5500 depending on your professional experience and qualifications., Our benefits include:
