Data & MLOps Engineer

Within the Data & Analytics (D&A) Development and Innovation team, the Data & MLOps Engineer oversees algorithms and pipelines to transform raw data into fully automated data products. The mission of the Data & MLOps Engineer is to (1) give easier access to data to final business users and Data & Analytics department members by implementing data pipelines and to (2) allow industrialization of advanced machine learning algorithms by setting in place and maintaining an MLOps framework. To do so he/she needs to understand company's and client's objectives and to keep business goals in line when handling large datasets.

• MLOps Framework development and management: Develop, maintain and manage the MLOps framework in collaboration with the data scientists and the IT department.
• Data Acquisition and Transformation: Collect and acquire data from both existing and new sources and make it available for both D&A department members and final business users.
• Data Democracy and Data Visualization: As a key member of the Data & Analytics Department, establish Data Democracy in the organization.
• Data and Process Automation: Look at all the possibilities to automate (data related) workload throughout the Data & Analytics department and develop the needed automated process to support the business growth.
• Gatekeeping of code versioning and coding standards: Define the coding standards and make sure they are used by all the people who are working on the D&A data platforms. Make sure that correct versioning and documentation system is in place to enable concurrent development and knowledge sharing.
• Stakeholder management: Act as an in-between person between the final data user (Business or D&A department members) and the IT department., Beter leven begint bij beter eten. De 2200 collega's in onze distributiecentra van Zellik en Ninove verwerken dagelijks alle producten van onze leveranciers, vaak van Belgische bodem, en brengen deze via meer dan 3000 leveringen per dag tot bij onze winkels. Maar het stopt niet in onze winkels of logistiek. Want ook onze meer dan 1000 collega's binnen Finance, HR, IT, Commerce of Legal staan staan om elkaar en onze klanten te helpen goed te eten.

Do you have experience in Spark?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * You have a Master in Information Technology or equivalent by experience.

• You have a first proven experience in Big Data / Data Science / Machine Learning environment.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar job.
• You have experience on Python and ((Py)Spark).
• You have a deep understanding of MLOps processes and needs.
• You have a deep understanding of Data Modelling and Management.
• You have an analytical mindset.
• You have good communication skills with both IT and businesspeople.
• You have good internal negotiation skills.
• You are eager to learn.
