In this role, you will work with a vibrant and passionate team committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions that empower our Discovery and Development scientists. The platform will support many data streams for a variety of different laboratories. Operational efficiency, observability, improvement and management of change are key attributes that need to be maintained, so the platform can meet our scientists need for producing data, AI-ready.
What You Will Contribute:
- Analyze functional requirements and transform them into innovative technical solutions.
- Lead the integration of lab platforms, providing guidance throughout the software lifecycle, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams-including business analysts, product owners, and developers-to ensure our platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with our mission.
- Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to inform our technical roadmap and strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement, ensuring our platform supports scientists in producing AI-ready data efficiently and reliably.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spring Framework?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry/Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing IT platforms within a life sciences environment.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, data system compliance (GxP and Non-GxP), system integration, data exchange techniques, and database concepts.
- Familiarity with software development tools and frameworks (e.g., Git, JIRA, Spring).
- Experience with Empower, Agilent CDS, or other SDMS systems is a plus.
- Strong communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset, with a genuine passion for continuous learning, growth, and innovation.
