Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Test Engineer to join the Validation team. In this role, you will take ownership of the test management for specific parts or modules of the company's products, ensuring that all validation processes meet performance, quality, and timing targets., Translate concrete test requests into detailed test procedures and define the required test equipment. Convert abstract test needs into comprehensive and executable test plans. Oversee the execution of the product design validation plan, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time. Manage mid- and long-term planning, converting it into actionable weekly test activities. Identify and resolve potential roadblocks that may impact progress or efficiency. Prepare, coordinate, perform, and analyze development tests, delivering clear technical reports and conclusions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, validation, and R&D) to troubleshoot and optimize test outcomes. Contribute to achieving and maintaining quality standards in line with ISO 17025 requirements.
Requirements
Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related field - or equivalent experience. Proven experience in automotive testing and testing facility environments. Experience with hybrid powertrains and automatic transmissions is a strong advantage. Ability to technically lead or coordinate a small team or testing project. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and result-oriented approach. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a multidisciplinary environment. Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Technical Skills Proficiency with Vector CANape / CANalyser Experience with AVL-CRETA, INCA, and MATLAB Familiarity with automotive data acquisition, calibration, and validation processes.
