You'll work hands-on with hardware and software to ensure seamless integration, robust performance, and safety compliance. Your work will directly support the deployment of hydrogen-powered systems and other cutting-edge technologies., * Test planning & execution: Develop and execute test plans for control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and embedded controllers.
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs to validate embedded software functionality. Integrate software components with HIL systems to simulate real-world conditions and verify system behaviour. Analyse HIL test data to identify performance bottlenecks, anomalies, and edge-case failures.
- System integration: Support integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components into complete systems for bench testing and commissioning.
- Troubleshooting & debugging: Identify and resolve control system issues during development, testing, and field deployment.
- Data acquisition & analysis: Collect and analyse performance data to validate system behaviour and optimise control strategies.
- Safety & compliance: Participate in safety studies and ensure control systems meet functional safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and system configurations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, software developers, and external partners to ensure system functionality and reliability.
