Job description
As a Data Analyst you develop and manage the data landscape of the Wevelgem production site. As the System Owner of our Connected Worker Solution (Maecos) you are responsible for the internal health, reliability and functionality of this application to meet business objectives. As you are responsible for the full process flow between the operator and the underlying data structures, you enable optimisations and loss reduction, and you provide the necessary insights in this data. You work closely with the Operational Technology (OT) and Integrated Work Processes (IWS) teams. You will report to the Digital Manager. You navigate in the ecosystem of databases, historians, production applications and reporting tools. End-users consider you the reference for structured and validated data and rely on the data platform and/or the connected worker solution for their daily work., * Identify and prioritise profitable Use Cases based on production data. You work closely with business report developers and end-users.
- Develop a data strategy and data models :
- Identify necessary and missing data
- Ensure availability and quality of the data
- Interfacing with other internal and external production software platforms
- Enable data pipelines for optimisations and predictions
- Roll-out a reporting strategy based on Power BI :
- Build important dataflows and datasets to provide consumers with well-modelled and validated data
- Develop and promote report templates
- Structure Power BI Workspaces and Apps
- Develop and implement concepts for data security and privacy
- Operational management :
- Management and governance of the Wevelgem data landscape
- Cooperate with the OT Applications team
- Lead knowledge transfer :
- Lead the Power BI community to promote best practices on data analysis and -visualization
- Lead the Maecos-community to capture needs and improvements from both White and Blue Collars
- Connect with other Danone organisations (e.g. other sites & global teams)
- Responsible for planning, implementing and managing the connected shopfloor environment (Maecos)
- Focus on leveraging the benefits of a connected shopfloor, such as improved efficiency, real-time data visibility, data-driven decision-making and enhanced operational performance.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SSRS?, Do you have a Master's degree?, You combine data-technical and communication skills :
- Interest in a production environment and the work processes of the end-users is essential
- You can think theoretically on Bachelor or Master level, and have at minimum a first experience in data analysis
- A good knowledge of Microsoft datatools such as Power BI (DAX), Excel, Powerquery
- You master SQL to understand and develop queries and stored procedures
- You can build and optimize complex relational datamodels according to industry best practices
- Knowledge of the other components of the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerAutomate, PowerApps, …) is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft SSIS and Microsoft SSRS is a plus
- You can bridge the gap between technical specialists, operational management and end-users
- You take the lead to identify Use Cases together with the end-users
- You enjoy working on multiple project simultaneously. You can manage the portfolio based on importance and added-value
- You are an excellent communicator in English and Dutch
