Job description
We're looking for a Medior .NET Engineer that enjoys building great software and working closely with a supportive team. You'll help us design, to further develop, and maintain applications that make a real difference to our business - from internal tools to customer-facing systems.
We value collaboration, curiosity, and quality. You'll be encouraged to share ideas, explore new technologies, and continuously improve both your skills and our solutions., * Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and related .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with teammates, product owners, and other stakeholders to turn ideas into working software.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and connect systems smoothly and securely.
- Work with SQL Server and design clean, efficient data models.
- Review code, share feedback, and help maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and help make our applications even better.
- Take part in Agile/Scrum rituals - planning, standups, retrospectives - where every voice counts.
- Stay curious and help the team adopt new tools and best practices.
Requirements
- around 3-6 years of experience developing with .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework)
- a solid grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
- experience working with REST APIs and SQL Server
- familiarity with Git and working in collaborative development environments
- a team-oriented mindset and clear, open communication style
- availability to work on-site at least 2 days per week (mainly Ghent area)
It's a bonus if you also have:
- experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker
- some frontend experience (React, Angular, or Blazor)
- knowledge of unit testing and automated test frameworks
