Job description
As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative embedded solutions for our clients across various industries. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality electronic products from concept to production.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Designing and sizing products assigned to you, ensuring development and validity comply with the overall architecture of the solutions
- Producing technical documentation including Software and Hardware Description Documents, requirement documents, Test Plans, and Requirement Traceability Matrices
- Managing and monitoring subcontracted tasks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, energetic materials, operations, prototyping, and software)
- Analyzing and correcting defects/issues identified during various development phases
- Contributing actively to integration and validation phases in coordination with the IVVQ team
- Participating in design and industrialization reviews as well as technical support missions during product development
- Providing technical support to Project Managers for monitoring costs, development schedules, and associated technical reporting
- Setting up and validating proof of concepts by building electronic breadboards/development boards before final design integration
- Performing simulation of analog circuits using LTspice
Requirements
Do you have experience in VHDL?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing embedded solutions including electronic cards and software development
- Strong experience in PCB layouts, FPGA using VHDL, and various communication systems (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, 1553, ARINC429)
- Hands-on experience in electronic lab environments and embedded software development (C/C++, RTOS)
- Proficiency with development tools such as Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, and Jira
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
