Tasks

  • Configure diagnostics for signal technology applications.
  • Support planning, execution, and documentation of software tests.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand and implement technical requirements., * Support in planning, conducting, and documenting diagnostic software tests in various environments (simulation, laboratory, vehicle)
  • Collaboration with other engineers and teams to understand and implement technical requirements
  • Development and implementation of software solutions in the field of signaling technology railway applications
  • Troubleshooting and optimization of existing software solutions

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar.
  • Experience with Debian Linux or similar operating systems.
  • Strong teamwork, initiative, and communication skills., * Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or a similar field
  • Experience with the Linux Debian version or a similar operating system (Python, C#/C++ and PLC are also desirable)
  • Familiarity with software versioning tools such as SVN and Git
  • Interest in railway technology and signaling technology
  • Teamwork skills, initiative, and good communication skills
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
