Job description

  • Set the technical direction of the architecture and algorithm development
  • Implement roll-outs of new functionalities (idea, requirements, development, tests, roll-out) on distributed systems
  • Model management (data model, machine learning models)
  • Set up software development workflows
  • Improvement of internal processes and procedures
  • Drive innovation partnerships with universities
  • Support CTO

Requirements

  • M.Sc. or PhD in Physics, Computer Science or Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience with machine learning (ML) solutions
  • Experience coding in Python and Java with experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Fascinated by the (energetic) optimization of building technology. Willingness to make fundamental improvements and to take the solution to the next level.
  • English speaking, * Basic understanding of Building Technology Systems
  • Experience with learning algorithms for physical world applications
  • Experience working with data pipelines or distributed machine learning
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Up to 40% of the CO2 emissions are caused by buildings. A considerable proportion of this emissions arises from inefficient operating settings of the building equipment. myFacility is addressing this problem by developing a data-driven, dynamic and automated energy optimization solution. It minimizes the energy expenses and environmental carbon footprint of buildings. myFacility offers two products: myFacility ANALYZE and myFacility OPTIMIZE.
