Job description

Our client is looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead cloud initiatives, optimize infrastructure, and ensure scalable, high-performance systems. You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product teams to drive continuous improvement, implement best practices, and maintain reliable backend services., * Lead technical initiatives on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.

Evolve software architecture and influence technology decisions following cloud best practices.
Build, maintain, and optimize containerized environments (Amazon EKS/Kubernetes).
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Serverless Framework, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Monitor, secure, and optimize AWS environments using Datadog and native AWS tools.
Apply advanced caching strategies and system optimizations to improve service performance.
Mentor team members and share best practices across DevOps and cloud operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
6+ years of software development and DevOps experience in cloud-native environments.
Strong backend experience: Node.js/TypeScript, Redis, SQL/NoSQL databases, NestJS or Express.
Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway.
Expertise in CI/CD, GitOps, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure monitoring.
AWS certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Fluent in English; German is an advantage
