- Act as software project lead, liaise with project system engineers on a technical level to ensure correct software requirement capturing, traceability, and testability
- Design, manage and implement to completion the software components (CSCIs) for ground-based training systems (back-end services for Windows and Linux platforms, as well as front-end multi-platform development and web applications)
- Produce of software tests, test procedures and documentation for the implemented software components
- Perform validation & verification activities in support to the V&V engineering team
- Coordinate activities of a small group of software developers in the execution of a project, * A committed, international team and unique projects

Requirements
- Engineering degree in Software, Electronics, or Aeronautical Engineering with 5+ years' experience in full-stack, cross-platform development (Windows, Linux, Web)
- Proven experience leading software development projects and mentoring small teams
- Proficient in front-end development using JavaScript and HTML5 for web applications
- Skilled in C++ and C#/.NET for desktop and back-end development; experienced with Git for version control
- Experience with ground-based training systems (CBT, LMS) and familiarity with avionics software standards (MIL-STD-498, IEEE/EIA 12207)
- Fluency in English (C1) both spoken and written, German knowledge is a plus as well as self-motivated, agile team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
