Job description

In our unit Digital Solutions & IT Architecture, we develop concepts and IT solutions for our global coatings and surface business. We drive innovative solutions, ensure seamless end-to-end processes, and identify global best practices for BASF Coatings locations.

  • Your role as a Technical SAP Consultant for Condition Contract Settlement focuses on developing or selecting the technically optimal implementation of business processes in customer service and service process automation.
  • You will work closely with the Global Process Owners and the digitalization teams in the global business units or Global Supply Chain.
  • Your focus is on consulting and supporting SAP projects in the Contract Settlement area, with a focus on the SAP CCS (Condition Contract Settlement) module and the SAP OTC (Order-to-Cash) process.
  • This includes designing and implementing SAP solutions, including customizing and integrating into existing system landscapes, as well as supporting the introduction of new business functions.

Requirements

  • degree in business informatics or business administration with an IT focus
  • in-depth knowledge of IT landscapes, especially customizing and coding in the SAP S/4HANA environment
  • experience with methods and tools for interface description and data architecture
  • several years of experience with global IT projects is desirable
  • strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English
  • analytical skills and enjoyment of teamwork to achieve optimal results with internal and external partners
