Job description
We're looking for a Product Manager (or Product Owner) to take ownership of our Android app domain, as we migrate from a hybrid WebView-based application to a fully native experience. This is a hands-on role, focused on shipping high-quality native Android capabilities that match our web and iOS experiences.
You'll work closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders across product and marketing to rebuild critical app functionality natively, streamline the mobile experience, and lay the foundation for long-term scalability on Android. You will collaborate with the Lead PM for iOS, who holds strategic oversight across the full app domain. Your mission will be to execute the Android roadmap while ensuring platform alignment with the overall app and business strategy., * Own the Android app product backlog and drive prioritization, sprint planning, and execution.
- Lead the migration of key app flows from WebView to native Android, in close collaboration with engineering.
- Translate user needs, business goals, and tech requirements into clear and actionable product specs.
- Align closely with the iOS PM and web product teams to ensure Android reflects the broader strategy.
- Identify Android-specific opportunities to leverage native OS capabilities (e.g., push, widgets, biometric auth).
- Work with design and QA to maintain UX consistency and high app quality.
- Partner with iOS PM to ensure feature parity and consistency across both mobile platforms.
- Communicate roadmap, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders (tech leads, marketing, legal, support).
Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS?, * Ideally 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally in mobile app development.
-
Strong understanding of native Android app architecture, lifecycle, and UI patterns (prior dev experience is a plus but not required).
-
Experience working with cross-functional agile teams (engineering, design, QA, etc.).
-
Comfortable managing technical backlogs such as refactors, migrations, and architectural improvements.
-
A pragmatic mindset: able to balance tech debt, user needs, and delivery velocity.
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across stakeholders and teams.
-
Nice to Have:
- Experience with hybrid-to-native migrations or similar replatforming projects.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, fintech, or gaming/lottery is a plus.
