Job description
- Develop & Customize - Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications and modules, tailoring screens, managing workflows, setting up reports, importing data, and scripting custom solutions.
- Integrate Systems - Seamlessly connect ServiceNow with third-party applications via APIs to optimize functionality.
- Ensure Documentation & Best Practices - Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of developments, integrations, and processes while following best practices.
- Collaborate & Innovate - Engage in agile ceremonies, contribute ideas, and uphold development standards to enhance platform efficiency.
- Maintain & Upgrade - Stay ahead of ServiceNow's evolving features, perform platform upgrades, and ensure smooth operation.
- Support & Troubleshoot - Provide ongoing assistance, diagnose issues, resolve bugs, and ensure a seamless experience for end users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 5+ years of development experience in ServiceNow or a similar ITSM/ITOM platform role.
- Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
Skills & Certifications
- ServiceNow Certification:
- Certified System Administrator (minimum requirement).
- Plus Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, or similar).
- ITIL Certification (ITIL v3 or v4).
- Strong experience with ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management ServiceNow modules. Familiarity with SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) is a plus
- Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in JavaScript (client scripts, business rules, UI policies, etc.).
- Experience with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP APIs).
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Your role
As part of the IT Service Integration & Management team, you will play a key role in the global expansion of the Symrise ServiceNow platform, working closely with our ServiceNow Architect. Since its implementation in 2019, ServiceNow has been a vital tool for ITIL processes, self-service portals, and Strategic Portfolio Management. Due to the platform's continuous growth across both IT and business functions, we are strengthening our internal expertise to support and scale its capabilities.
