Job description
We are seeking a dynamic Solution Sales Manager to lead our Business Transformation Management (BTM) sales efforts in Germany. BTM is a central piece of SAP's overall business suite strategy, positioning you at the forefront of digital transformation., As a Solution Sales Manager (f/m/d), you will lead, drive, manage, coach and develop a team of Solution Sales Executives while consistently achieving targeted revenue goals., * Team Leadership: Develop your team into an outstanding, high-performing unit through hands-on coaching, identifying development opportunities, and driving sales excellence
- Revenue Excellence: Manage the sales pipeline proactively using MEDDIC methodology, ensuring forecast accuracy and driving both large 7-digit transformational deals and volume 6-digit business
- Entrepreneurial Growth: Foster a can-do mentality and entrepreneurial mindset within your team to identify and drive standalone opportunities beyond traditional account plans
- End-to-End Sales Management: Take ownership of the entire sales funnel in alignment with SDRs, Marketing, Solution Advisory, CSM, and Partner Managers
- Industry Expertise: Build and leverage deep industry knowledge and networks in your assigned sector
- Solution Advocacy: Position and champion the complete SAP BTM value proposition including LeanIX, Signavio, Tricentis, Syniti and CALM as part of the "Integrated Tool Chain"
- Relationship Building: Establish strong customer relationships at C-level and build a thriving BTM customer community within your industry
- Demonstration Leadership: Serve as a hands-on role model by actively participating in solution demonstrations and customer engagements
- Cross-SAP Collaboration: Build reliable networks within SAP, particularly with Industry Account Executives and Sales Managers
- Partner Ecosystem: Facilitate and strengthen the BTM partner ecosystem within your industry vertical
Requirements
- several years of successful experience in enterprise software sales with strong SAP ecosystem knowledge
- Proven people management experience with ability to develop high-performing sales teams
- Deep industry expertise and established network in either Public & Energy OR Discrete Manufacturing
- Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to drive incremental revenue and standalone opportunities
- Strong hands-on solution demonstration capabilities
- Experience with MEDDIC sales methodology and forecast excellence
- Broad understanding of BPM, Process Mining, Enterprise Architecture, and SAP's Integrated Tool Chain
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany
Preferred:
- Individual contributor sales background with track record of closing large enterprise deals
- Experience with SAP RISE and ERP solutions
- Proven success managing both large transformational transactions and volume business
- Strong diplomatic and team-building skills
