Job description

As a Game Developer (Cross Platform), you will work on adapting and optimizing Albion Online for mobile and console platforms. Your responsibilities will include implementing platform-specific features, ensuring performance optimization, and providing an intuitive user experience tailored for different platforms.

  • Adapt Albion Online to mobile and console platforms by integrating platform-specific features and APIs
  • Ensure smooth gameplay by optimizing performance for platform-specific hardware
  • Develop and refine gamepad controls and UI interactions for an intuitive experience
  • Debug and resolve platform-specific issues to maintain stability and quality
  • Ensure the game meets platform holder requirements and guidelines for certification
  • Work closely with the programming, design, and QA teams to deliver a polished experience
  • Maintain feature parity and cross-platform compatibility between PC, mobile, and console versions

Requirements

Do you have experience in iOS?, * 2+ of game development experiences

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#
  • Experience with console development (PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch)
  • Familiarity with the Unity Game Engine
  • Strong understanding of performance profiling and optimization for console or mobile hardware
  • Knowledge of platform-specific SDKs and certification processes
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of UX: You can work with user flows and journeys
  • Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written) in English, * Experience working on cross-platform or live-service games
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design for gamepad, mobile and console interfaces
  • Understanding of multiplayer or networked game architecture
  • Passion for MMORPGs and familiarity with Albion Online's gameplay and community
  • Knowledge of Albion Online's unique mechanics and systems
