Job description
As a Developer Advocate in our Research organization, your mission is to amplify the impact of our publications and model releases by building, engaging, and promoting our research community. This means you will be working closely with our research scientists and engineers to make sure our output is accessible and visible in deeply technical AI/LLM academic and industry communities. Within this scope, you are in the driving seat: your success is measured by the impact you have, and your role is to derive how to make that impact.
You'll contribute to a breadth of initiatives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; one week, you might be organizing our participation in a major conference; another week, you'll lead a growth campaign on our upcoming release., * Develop and implement strategies to build and grow an engaged developer community around Aleph Alpha's AI and LLM technologies
- Organize and participate in digital and in-person community events, webinars, forums, and social media platforms to facilitate discussions and share knowledge
- Act as a liaison between the community and our research teams, gathering feedback and insights to drive continuous product improvement
- Analyze community feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, advocating for community needs in product roadmap discussions
- Engage academic partners through organizing targeted events and presentations.
- Monitor and report on community engagement and growth metrics
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Proven experience in Developer Advocacy, Community Management, Developer Relations, or a similar role
- You are deeply engaged and have a great understanding of technical & scientific communities
- You can understand and communicate scientific results, balancing simplicity and depth without sacrificing accuracy
- You are detail-oriented and have a great sense for visual storytelling, setting the bar for our public content
- You have a high sense of ownership and urgency, and can maximize your impact with limited resources and directives
- Proficiency with one of more coding languages, particularly Python, * Ability to work onsite or hybrid in Heidelberg, Germany
- Previous experience in a deep-tech, scientific environment
- Previous experience in a related role in AI, particularly with LLMs
