Job description

The Field Support Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for customers. This role involves installation, configuration, and repair of hardware and software systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction., * German language b2 mandatory

  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment or systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • Provide remote and field support to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance visits and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Train customers and end-users on system operation, maintenance, and safety.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, documentation, and records of customer interactions.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved and satisfaction is achieved.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and procedures during field operations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

  • 2-5 years of experience in field service, technical support, or a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware installation, calibration, and system testing.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, routers, switches) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work independently in field conditions.
  • Valid driver's license (if required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of remote monitoring tools and ticketing systems ( ServiceNow, Jira).
