Job description
The Field Support Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for customers. This role involves installation, configuration, and repair of hardware and software systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction., * German language b2 mandatory
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment or systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
- Provide remote and field support to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct preventive maintenance visits and ensure equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Train customers and end-users on system operation, maintenance, and safety.
- Maintain detailed service reports, documentation, and records of customer interactions.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved and satisfaction is achieved.
- Adhere to company safety standards and procedures during field operations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 2-5 years of experience in field service, technical support, or a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with hardware installation, calibration, and system testing.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, routers, switches) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and work independently in field conditions.
- Valid driver's license (if required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of remote monitoring tools and ticketing systems ( ServiceNow, Jira).
