Site Reliability Engineer

• Design, develop, and implement software that improves the stability, scalability, availability, and latency of waipu.tv.
• Work with your team to solve problems in our highly available production systems and develop solutions and automation to prevent future incidents.
• Take ownership of services and be responsible for the architecture of our central Kubernetes platform.
• Monitor the health of your systems and handle outages as needed.
• Support our teams in building microservices using CNCF projects (Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenTracing, gRPC) for our production infrastructure., * The position can be based in Munich or remote within Germany.

Do you have experience in gRPC?, * Solid experience with containers and operating Kubernetes clusters.

• Hands-on experience with automation using Terraform.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing REST or gRPC APIs.
• Good software development skills, preferably in Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or GCE).
• Extensive experience in building, operating, and maintaining complex and scalable systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux administration, troubleshooting, and networking.
• Good proficiency in spoken and written German or English.
• Availability for once-per-quarter trips to the main office in Munich
