Job description
As a Software Engineer, you'll be part of the team building and scaling the core systems behind our CDN and ad-tech infrastructure. You'll design and implement performant, distributed, and reliable software in Go, shaping how content and ads are delivered to millions of users in real time., * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services for content delivery and ad insertion.
- Build resilient, observable systems optimized for low latency and high throughput.
- Collaborate with SRE and platform teams to deploy, monitor, and scale services in Kubernetes.
- Contribute to internal frameworks and libraries that power our CDN and real-time decision systems.
- Develop APIs (REST and gRPC) that integrate with our data, analytics, and streaming pipelines.
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development processes., * The position can be based in Munich or remote within Germany.
- Work on a product reaching millions of users in real time.

Requirements
Do you have experience in gRPC?, * Strong experience in backend software development, with a focus on Go (Golang).
- Understanding of distributed systems, caching, and high-performance networking (HTTP/2, QUIC, CDN concepts).
- Experience designing and maintaining APIs and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
- Knowledge of ad-tech, streaming, or large-scale content delivery systems is a plus.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments and debugging system-level issues.
- Good proficiency in spoken and written German or English.
- Availability for once-per-quarter trips to the main office in Munich.
