Siemens Energy, as part of our ongoing HR transformation program, is seeking a proficient and experienced HR Systems Technical Specialist (f/m/d). In this role, you will employ your comprehensive understanding of the HR Systems Landscape, their functionalities, and their interconnections, to support our People Systems & Services (PS&S) team. As an HR Systems Technical Specialist, you will be pivotal in conducting roadmap analyses, market research, and tool replacement processes, ensuring a seamless technological transformation within the organization. - Provide HR technology advisory support across our custom HR application (Compensation & Benefits, Organization Management, Employment Conditions/Contract generation), understanding how modules interact and where data originates/flows
- Conduct roadmap analyses and market research, aligning solutions to organizational priorities and identifying opportunities to simplify or retire tooling
- Lead and support tool replacement initiatives-from proposal and options analysis through project execution and transition into IT operations.
- Evaluate strategic tool/process replacements, prepare decision papers, maintain project direction, and ensure a smooth operational handover with clear runbooks and SLAs
- Offer ad-hoc support for time-sensitive issues in a dynamic environment; triage incidents, coordinate with IT, and restore service quickly.
- Assess the best fit of required HR processes within the current landscape, prioritizing reuse of existing capabilities where it meets business outcomes on cost and time
- Collaborate with internal IT and external vendors to trace integrations and data dependencies, helping identify root causes via logs, interface monitors, or targeted data checks
- Maintain concise technical documentation (data flows, interface contracts, decision logs) and translate between business needs and implementation details, You will be working within the Human Resources function - People Systems and Services, a truly global and team with varied strengths of specialists with an open approach, responsible for guaranteeing operational performance and budget alignment of HR Systems & Services, ensuring, and maintaining fit-for-purpose HR systems and processes, safeguarding end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation. Requirements
- University degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR Systems Consultant, with comprehensive understanding of HR systems architectures, ideally involving custom-built or customized HR applications.
- Professional experience as IT professional or software engineer seeking to apply your technical expertise in a more functional and cross-disciplinary role, focusing on requirements engineering, stakeholder collaboration, and partial leadership of a software development team.
- Fundamental understanding of software architecture, integrations, and data flows to effectively guide solution design and coordinate with the technical team.
- Ability to work independently, structure complex topics, and communicate clearly with technical and business teams
- Fluent in English and German language
