Job description
We are seeking a Network Technician based in Karlsruhe or Nearby areas to support our clients with on-site network installations, troubleshooting, and remote-hands activities. The role involves visiting client locations to perform tasks as scheduled or assigned on a ticket basis., * Install, replace, and configure network devices (switches, routers, access points, firewalls, etc.)
- Perform LAN/WAN troubleshooting and connectivity checks
- Execute patching, cable labeling, and basic cable management
- Provide remote-hands support to the backend engineering team
- Follow SOPs and complete checklists as required
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Prior experience as a Network Technician, IT Field Engineer, or similar role
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, cabling standards
- Must have your own tool kit and a Windows laptop
- Strong communication skills (English required; German is a plus)
