Frontend Software Engineer - Convert (Hybrid)

Join eDreams ODIGEO as a Frontend Software Engineer on our Convert Team in Barcelona or Madrid (Hybrid). You will be at the heart of the customer experience when searching and booking travel on our e-commerce platform. Responsibilities

• Build future-forward applications with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, styled-components, and GraphQL.
• Work in a distributed, scalable micro-services environment, delivering high-quality, clean code with SOLID principles and TDD.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of 7-10 developers, product owners, UX designers, QA, data scientists, and data engineers.
• Develop powerful algorithms and advanced features that drive innovation in travel tech.
• Participate in product definition, ideation, and continuous improvement processes.
• Monitor performance of product and technical OKRs.

• Strong mastery of JavaScript (5+ years at scale).
• Solid knowledge of engineering fundamentals: data structures, concurrency, design patterns, algorithms.
• Experience with micro-services platforms, clean code, SOLID, and TDD.
• Comfort with cloud, continuous delivery environments, and scalable architecture.
• Fluent English - written and spoken.
• Team player with good communication and mentoring skills.
• Preferred: experience with AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT), experimentation mindset, and AI-enhanced problem solving.
