Job description
As a Senior Engineer, you'll take ownership of key technical components such as config validation, test automation, asset workflows, and Unity runtime systems. You'll collaborate closely with QA, Tech Art, Engineering, and LiveOps teams to build high-quality tools and pipelines that improve speed, safety, and developer experience across the board.
- Develop Unity-based tools and systems that support production teams across the studio
- Build and maintain configuration validation systems (schemas, safety toggles, rollback)
- Create automation frameworks for runtime and editor testing
- Design and implement tools for QA, Tech Art, and Art teams: validators, previewers, asset ingestion
- Build runtime observability features to support diagnostics, crash tracking, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs and deliver impactful tooling
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team
Requirements
- Proven experience in Unity engineering, with focus on tools, runtime, or pipeline development
- Solid understanding of scalable, maintainable system design
- Strong programming fundamentals (C# preferred) and clean coding practices
- Familiarity with editor scripting, asset processing, and runtime configuration patterns
- Collaborative mindset: works well with QA, Tech Art, and non-engineering stakeholders
- Experience working in a production or live game environment
- Effective communicator with good technical judgment and attention to detail
- Experience in mentoring or supporting other engineers
Nice to Have
- Experience in mobile live service environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and automation tools
- Understanding of crash analytics, performance profiling, and error reporting in Unity
- Exposure to AI-powered tools or developer productivity systems
