We are looking for a skilled Medior Frontend Engineer with strong AI fluency to join our dynamic team. What you'll do You take the lead in the development of software, focusing on functional and non-functional aspects, and are responsible for the end deliverables of your squad. You will work in our Managed Services team and ensure that our enterprise customers get the best-in-class application quality and you deliver with operational excellence. You implement end-user facing web applications using a modern, responsive stack and tooling, and work closely with your team: the engineering manager, developers and QA engineers. You contribute to requirements analysis and ensure the customer's high-quality demands

are met. Who you are We are looking for a colleague who has affinity with technical topics, is eager to learn and importantly, is a team player. You have 2+ years of Frontend development experience; You are accustomed to working with different codebases and can easily grasp a complex technical implementation; You understand how to interpret technical requirements in a business context; You have in-depth knowledge of NPM & Node; You are accustomed to working in a CI/CD environment; You have a good eye for UX and user interface in general; You have experience with web application architecture topics like: HTTP spec (common headers, response statuses, REST, etc...), JWT tokens, CORS, XSS, CSP; You are passionate about embracing AI/ML tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and IntelliJ (AI) and you enjoy shaping the product or platform's functionality with AI; You are a sociable, friendly person and enjoy working with multiple cultures and stakeholders; You perform well under pressure; You are accustomed to working in a complex enterprise microservices context; Interested in building your career at Backbase?
