- About BNP Paribas, * Administer and optimize DLP (Symantec), Varonis (DatAdvantage), and IBM Guardium to prevent data leaks and monitor suspicious activity.
- Design and enforce security policies that align with global compliance standards and BNP Paribas' risk appetite.
- Detect and respond to anomalies in real time, ensuring 24/7 data protection (including on-call rotations).
- Drive governance improvements by refining incident response processes and automating alerts for suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CTO Office, Control Tower, PMO) to harden security frameworks and mitigate emerging threats., * Administer Symantec DLP, Varonis, and IBM Guardium-configuring policies, managing access, and ensuring uptime.
- Monitor and report on data activity, investigating anomalies and escalating incidents per SLAs.
- Implement real-time alerts for suspicious actions (e.g., unauthorized data access, exfiltration attempts).
? Project & Change Management:
- Participate in security projects, from requirements gathering to deployment (e.g., SIEM integrations, log parsing with Elastic Stack).
- Execute changes during/outside business hours, assessing impact and rolling back if needed.
- Attend technical workshops to align security solutions with evolving threats and business needs.
? Governance & Improvement:
- Refine incident response processes, reducing mean time to detect (MTTD) and resolve (MTTR).
- Document procedures and train teams on security best practices.
- Automate repetitive tasks (e.g., Python scripts for log analysis or policy updates).
Requirements
? Education: Master's degree (or equivalent) in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field., * 2+ years in production environments, with hands-on experience in at least one of:
- Symantec DLP (Broadcom)
- Varonis (DatAdvantage module preferred)
- IBM Guardium
- Large-scale infrastructure management (enterprise-level security tools, high-availability systems).
? Languages: Fluent English (mandatory); French is a plus.
?️ Technical Skills:
- Security Tools: Deployment/design of DLP, Varonis, Guardium.
- OS: Windows Server / Linux RHEL.
- Development: Python (automation, log parsing).
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server.
- SIEM: Experience with Elastic Stack (or similar) for security log analysis.

- Analytical rigor: Ability to detect patterns, synthesize complex data, and act decisively.
- Problem-solving: Critical thinking to diagnose and resolve security gaps.
- Collaboration: Work with global teams (IT, Risk, Compliance) to align security with business goals.
